Jurgen Ploog

Jurgen Ploog is interested in Burroughs’ work and cut-ups especially.

He does mostly fiction but has ventured into the theoretical field occasionally.

An important subject to him is the contemporary transformation of the Beat spirit and its traces.

Happenstance today from searching for a review of Heathcote Williams’ ‘Death Kit’; leading me to the YouTube talk on Burroughs given by Jurgen Ploog.

The mast-head of Ginsberg & Orlovsky in Paris taken by my old friend Harold Chapman proved I’d discovered what I have been waiting for; a forum for Beat literary matters.

I feel I have been waiting a lifetime to read the following statement: ‘An important subject … is the contemporary transformation of the Beat spirit and its traces.’
