Steven Belletto is Associate Professor of English at Lafayette College, USA. He is author of No Accident, Comrade: Chance and Design in Cold War American Narratives (Oxford, 2012), editor of American Literature in Transition, 1950-1960 (Cambridge, 2018) and The Cambridge Companion to the Beats (2017), and co-editor of American Literature and Culture in an Age of Cold War: A Critical Reassessment (Iowa, 2012). From 2011-2016 he was associate editor for the journal Contemporary Literature, and is now an editor there. He is currently writing a literary history of the Beats to be published by Cambridge University Press.
