Syam Sudhakar is Program Director, CPRACSIS, at Madras University, India. His research interests include: the Beat Generation; performance poetry, Dravidian aesthetics; and gender studies. He has published two collections of poems, Earpam (Dampness) and Syam Sudhakar Kavithaikal (Selected poems of Syam Sudhakar). He has also published a number a poems and articles in various research journals such as Transnational Literature by Flinders University, Australia.
