Alessandro Clericuzio is Associate Professor of American Literature at the University of Perugia, Italy. He has published books and essays in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, the UK and the Netherlands. Among his recent publications, a comparative reading of the TV show Desperate Housewives and Madame Bovary, an essay on the reception and rewritings of Mann’s Death in Venice in English and American culture, and the monograph Tennessee Williams and Italy. A Transcultural Perspective, Palgrave MacMillan, 2016.
