Alexander Smith

Alexander Smith is part of a coterie of Beat enthusiasts, the Dead Beats, based at the University of Sheffield. His research interests include the development of Burroughs’ cut up technique from Queer through Interzone to Naked Lunch, as well as the writer’s time in London. Alongside his studies, he co-runs the Dead Beats Literary Journal, a burgeoning hub of new literary potential inspired by the Beat Poets.
