Andreas Klein

Andreas Klein is an independent researcher and artist from Germany. He studied German Literature, Philosophy and History of Art at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg and holds a PhD in German Literature. He is hooked with the Beats since a fellow student lent him a copy of Jack Kerouac’s novel On the Road. As a vivid reader of all kind of literature of the beat movement he is foremost interested in the different alternative approaches to life which one can find in the texts and the lived life of the authors and artist itself. Moreover he tries to integrate methods of the Beats like the cut-up-technique in his own creative output.
