I am working at the moment on my PhD at the University of Bilefeld within the English and American Studies dealing with the representation of mind in cut-up literature, problematizing the term as well. I pursue a comparative study of Russian, British and American texts, and the works of Brion Gysin and William S Burroughs are within my primary sources. I worked also (actually I am from Moscow, but we moved in 2012 to Germany) five years as an editor at the Russian art-magazine “Iskusstvo” and interested in the relations and connections between visual arts and literature. My first (Russian) PhD was about the possibilities of analysis of interrelation of literature and musical “languages” in a work of art.
