Douglas Field

Douglas Field is Lecturer at the University of Manchester. He is the editor of American Cold War Culture (2005) and A Historical Guide to James Baldwin (2009) and the author of James Baldwin (for the series Writers and Their Work). He has published articles in Callaloo, African American Review and ELH and has written for the Guardian and TLS. He has written several articles on Harold Norse for publications including Beat Scene.
