Frida Forsgren

Frida Forsgren is an art historian working on the Beat artists in San Francisco.

She has published the book San Francisco Beat Art in Norway (2008) and the article ‘Jay De Feo’s Forgotten Rosen: The Wise and Foolish Virgins’ (Konsthistorisk Tidskrift 2009, Vol. 78, No. 3). She has made a full catalogue of the Wennesland Collection, the world’s largest collection of San Francisco Beat Art, and she is writing a new monograph entitled Beat Lives.

At the Unversity of Agder she teaches the interdisciplinary course on Beat Culture.
