I am a PhD candidate with the University of South Australia, with a research focus on experimental poetics, Beat Studies, queer theory, and feminism. My creative practice is centred around developing my own framework for producing text from the kinetic corpus, which I describe as ‘kinaesthetic writing’, or ‘écriture kinesthétique’. My work has been published in Writing from Below, VerseMag, and Tulpa, and I have performed in the Adelaide Festival, the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, and the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival. I have also featured as the headline act for poetry performance showcases hosted by Paroxysm Press, and as the MC for the University of South Australia’s student-led open mic event, Showpony.
