Ian MacFadyen studied the History of Art with Professor Lawrence Gowing and Professor T.J. Clark. He co-edited with Professor Oliver Harris the book NakedLunch@50: Anniversary Essays and co-authored with Professor Axel Heil the book William S. Burroughs: CUT. A number of his writings on Burroughs and Brion Gysin are available online at RealityStudio: A William S. Burroughs Community. His large scale ink drawings will be exhibited in 2016.
