James is a film journalist and Senior Lecturer at the University of Brighton. He has written about Beat films and literature (Books Editor of Electric Sheep Magazine) and lectures on Bohemianism and Visual Culture. He has also interviewed (twice) Peter Whitehead – audio and video respectively.
