John Shapcott

John Shapcott is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Keele. His writing on the Beats has appeared in the Journal of American Studies, Beat Scene and the Journal of Beat Studies. He has a particular interest in Beat ecology and with Beat literary intertextual links with music. He has published numerous articles and book chapters on twentieth-century literature and silent moves, as well as writing the book for a (performed) stage musical set in Depression New York.
