John Tanner teaches at the School of English, Bangor University, UK, where he received his doctorate for a thesis on the Beat-era writer, Richard Brautigan. He has written a revisionist study of Brautigan, Landscapes of Language (Humanities-EBooks), published poetry in various magazines, including Poetry Wales, and produced a collection of verse, Pieces (Cinnamon Press).
