Juliana Duque

Juliana is a PhD candidate at Universidade de Lisboa, Faculdade de Belas-Artes (University of Lisbon, Faculty of Fine Arts – FBAUL), working with countercultural graphic design.

She is a member of CIEBA art research center in Lisbon, where she intersects several countercultural graphic practices, such as Psychedelia, Punk, and Rave. She participated in the Leonardo da Vinci European Program for the Arts in Padua, Italy. Master’s degree in Communication Design and New Media while a member of the Epiwork Project – Science of complex systems for socially intelligent ICT.

She is also an illustrator and graphic designer, participating in contests and exhibitions.
