Leon Horton

Leon is a freelance cultural journalist, and a huge fan of the Beat Generation, especially William Burroughs. In August 2018 he was lucky enough to stay at The Beat Hotel in Paris (for one night and one night only at those prices!) on assignment.  He has written several feature articles on Beat-related subjects, most recently a piece on the English artist Jeff Nuttall for Beat Scene Magazine, and is currently engaged in a long-form piece on Hunter S. Thompson’s childhood for said publication. He is also working on several other pieces, including one on Kerouac   His work in relation to the Beats has been published by numerous publications and online platforms, notably Beat Scene Magazine, Empty Mirror, International Times, Beatdom and Literary Heist.
