Lisa Avdic-Öst

Lisa Avdic-Öst was born in 1984 and is a former psychology student from the University of Örebro, Sweden. She has studied psychology with a special interest in alternative methods of therapy, resulting in an essay that discusses the subject of emotional responses to musically induced stimuli.

She has also studied film art, gender studies, research methodology and statistics, at the university of Örebro, Sweden. She is a pianist and have studied music from early childhood.

Lisa is a beat-enthusiast with a special interest in William S. Burroughs. She wishes to further study the psychology of Burroughs writing as well as his influence on today´s underground music scene.
