Mike Perez

Mike Perez earned an M.A. In English Literature from FSU and an MFA Terminal Degree in Creative Writing from The University of Houston. His poems have appeared in Crab Orchard Review, Bloom Poetry Journal, The Journal Of Florida Studies, and as a finalist in the 2004 War Poetry Contest sponsored by winningwriters.com. Six poems have just been published in the Route Seven Review at http://www.route7review.com/#!michael-perez/c1ehm . He’s been at Embry-Riddle since 2008, currently as an Assistant Professor of Humanities and Communication, and is working on a poetry manuscript on geological themes entitled Geodes: Stone Poems.
