Monika Krajka is a cultural producer, musician and Media & Cultural Studies
graduate. During her studies, she focused on cultural and medial techniques of
dis/orientation and altered consciousness, as well as spatial theory and
postcolonial studies. She studied at Universität Konstanz, Germany and JNU New
Delhi, India and holds a master’s degree in “Studies in European Culture”. She
likes to juggle with concepts to approach issues of representation and is
particularly interested in material studies, feminist issues, film, ritual and
trance.
As an intrepid traveler, guitarist and member of a DIY-collective staging
transmedial happenings and psychedelic rock concerts, she explores the impact of
beat-derived techniques in theory as well as in practice.
