Nadra recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Cross-Cultural Studies from the Higher Institute of Languages of Tunis, Tunisia.
Previously, she focused on the works of Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs, and Allen Ginsberg from a psychoanalytic perspective in her thesis. Kerouac’s On the Road is her favorite Beat novel.
Having chosen The Beat Generation as an area of concentration in her MA dissertation, she is currently working on her PhD. research proposal. In fact, it deals with the same literary movement from a gender perspective which involves the female voices, especially Carolyn Cassady, Joyce Johnson, and Diane di Prima.
