Nick Nuttall is a senior lecturer at the University of Lincoln School of Journalism. Current research interests include the New Journalism of the fin-de-siècle, Jack Kerouac and the ‘beat’ writers, New Journalism and ‘Gonzo’ journalism of the 1950s and 60s. Recent publications include contributions to The Encyclopedia of Interior Design (Fitzroy Dearborn, 1997) and a chapter on Investigative Journalism for the latest edition of The Newspapers Handbook by Richard Keeble (Routledge, 2005). He is working on a chapter on Hunter S Thompson and also a paper for an HST Conference in Louisville next year.
