Polina Mackay

Polina Mackay is an Associate Professor of English and Head of the Department of Languages and Literature at the University of Nicosia. She is the Vice President of the European Beat Studies Network and the author of Beat Feminisms: Aesthetics, Gender, Literature, Activism. She is also the co-editor of Global Beats, The Beat Generation and Europe, The Cambridge Companion to H.D., Kathy Acker and Transnationalism and Authorship in Context. Her work also appeared in ruth weiss: Beat Poetry, Jazz and Art, in The Routledge Handbook of International Beat Literature and in The Cambridge Companion to the Beats, as well as in scholarly journals including Comparative Literature and Culture, Porn Studies, and SAIL Studies in American Indian Literatures.
