I am a poet. My interest in the writers of the beat generation was born when I met Fernanda Pivano, in the Arcana bookshop, here in Rome, in Via di San Giacomo. A bookshop and, then, a publishing house inaugurated by her and by the great Raimondo Biffi.I was a teenager and immediately became a great friend of her.I made the underground magazine Re Nudo, first series.
I will never forget those years. Today there is the desert. “Public loneliness”, Allen Ginsberg.
