Tony Hoffman earned his BA in Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Michigan’s Residential College.  A technology journalist by profession, he is a longtime denizen of the Poetry Project at St. Mark’s Church in Manhattan. He is the author of The Sword of Things, published by Exit Strata/The Trouble with Bartleby (2013). His poetry, prose, and essays have appeared in Exit Strata, The Operating System, The True Wheel, Night Vision, The National Poetry Magazine of the Lower East Side, and elsewhere. He is particularly interested in the trends and influences in avant-garde and experimental poetry over the past century or so.
