Veronika Yadukha 


Born in 1991 in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. Translator, editor, culture researcher. Copy editor in Ukrainian theatre portal Teatre. As a researcher and artist participated in art laboratory within “Un-charming of a thing” (August 2015) and artistic and research seminar “Bread. Socialist realism” (September 2016), both took place in Khmelnytskyi Museum of Art. Member of VERBatsiya translation group. Together with VERBatsiya translated texts of modern Ukrainian poets into English (anthology of poetry “Letters from Ukraine”, published in May 2016); conducted a lecture and a workshop on translation of Diane di Prima’s poetry for the Translation Department students, Khmelnytskyi National University (November 2015); took part in public readings project Beat to beat (pun on words – Beat movement and “beat” as a music style) within the scope of the International Festival of Literature and Art “Book Arsenal” in Kyiv (April 2016) and the International Literary Festival The Lviv Publishers’ Forum (September 2016). Now is working on the anthology of American beatniks’ poetry translations.
