I am a Senior Lecturer in English and American Literature at the University of Worcester. I have published articles on American and European Modernism, as well as a book called Objective and Surreal: Poetry and Language Writing (Liverpool University Press, 2007). I teach courses on American Writing, Literary Criticism and Environmental Writing. I practice samatha meditation, in the Theravadan tradition.
