Elisa Sabbadin is a fourth-year PhD candidate at University College Cork, Ireland. After an MA degree in English and American modern literature with a thesis on Allen Ginsberg and William S. Burroughs, her PhD research treats the long line in modern American poetry. Her thesis mainly concerns Walt Whitman and Allen Ginsberg. Her research is funded by the Irish Research Council.
