(Danny) I-Kai Wang is an M.A. by Research student in English Literature at the National University of Singapore. Supported by the FASS Buddhist Studies Scholarship, his research examines how the fusion of Western poetry and Buddhist sutra form cultivates ecological awareness and enacts reparative healing in the works of Allen Ginsberg and Gary Snyder. His broader interests include Postwar American Literature, ecocriticism, affect theory, and critical psychedelics studies.
