Michael Kellner

Michael Kellner is a publisher, translator, writer and photographer. He published translations of Allen Ginsberg, Ted Joans, Diane DiPrima, Joyce Johnson and a lot more other poets and writers from the Beat Universe. One of his major projects was the German edition of “Howl Annotated” (1998). His translated work includes the German edition of Naked Lunch: the Restored Text (2009), And the Hippos were Boiled in Their Tanks (2010) and Rub Out the Words (2011). He also edited and translated a selection of the Ginsberg-Kerouac letters. In 2022, a two-volume edition of selected Works by Allen Ginsberg (Lyrik/Poetry and Prosa) was published.
