Rebecca Evans

After graduating from Berkeley, Rebecca spent years living a post-beat life there without knowing why. In 2010 she met her friend Gerry Nicosia at a bookstore in the San Francisco Bay Area; and after reading his ground-breaking works on Lu Anne Henderson and Jan Kerouac, was inspired to attend the inaugural EBSN conference. During the last two weeks she has written a novella about her final day at the conference and subsequent dutch-border Venlo adventures interwoven with past berkeley-beat experiences- Gerry is very excited about its future publication! If any EBSN members have ideas about publication in Europe, please feel free to send her a message on this site. This year Rebecca is starting a three-year course in professional translation at the University of Bristol while residing in Germany.
